Workshops

Teaching Consent is How we Stop Rape

Workshop Information

Discussing consent just got a whole lot easier! Allow me to have the birds and the bees talk so that you don’t have to. Or, allow me to help you sharpen your communication skills as a parent, caretakr, or persin who works with survivors or kids.

I specialize in discussing consent and an age-appropriate manner in all environments whether it’s a group of children who are in a community of faith like at church or kids who are in health class and are going into greater detail.

Whether you’re a school, university, workplace, nonprofit, conference, or community organization, I provide interactive workshops that challenge harmful myths, encourage healthy relationships, and empower people to recognize and respect boundaries.

How long are workshops?

Most workshops range from 45–90 minutes, but presentations can be customized to fit your schedule.

Can workshops be tailored to our audience?

Absolutely. Every audience is different, and every presentation is customized to meet your organization’s needs.

Do you travel?

Yes! I offer both in-person and virtual workshops.

What ages are your workshops for?

I can customize my workshops to teach children of any age about consent. For elementary students, we typically discuss simple things like hugs, how to greet others respectfully when they dont want to be touched, and what safe and unsafe touch looks like. For pre-teens and teens, we discuss the birds and the bees with a consent-conscious focus on identifying sexual assault and sex education basics.

I also have an array of workshops for adults who are survivors, allies, and those who work with survivors.

How much does it cost?

Send an  email to info@consenttips.com and tell me the date of your event, length of event, location, number of people expected, and the topic(s) requested for an estimate.

Consent Conscious Sex Education

Sexual assault is so prevalent today because children are not taught consent, boundaries, and empathy from an early age. In order to stop sexual assault, comprehensive sex education is mandatory. It's not just about teaching biology, it's also about teaching boundaries, consent, and birth control options.

Studies have shown that areas that have comprehensive sex education classes in schools have lower teen pregnancy rates. Knowledge is power. Set the future generations up for success by teaching them how to communicate consent and boundaries.

Holistic Healing for Survivors

My healing journey began in 2013 and has taken me from the shamans of the Amazon forest, to tables Kemetic reiki healers. I have used dozens of holistic healing methods from Afro-Indigenous, African, and Asian cultures over the years.

I am delighted to share the wealth of knowledge I have gained over the years on soul retrievals, plant medicine ceremonies, reiki, past life regressions, crystals, energy clearing, Hoodoo, Ifa, Kemetic spirituality, grounding, herbalism, forgiveness, cutting soul ties,  detoxing, meditation, manifestation, and more!

Crystal Healing Session

Toxic LGBTQ Relationships

Domestic violence and sexual assault in queer relationships are often sexualized, dismissed, and unaddressed. This workshop allows for people who are survivors or those who work with survivors to gain a better understanding of queer relationships.

Marginalized communities are often times cornered and harmed in ways that straight people are not. This workshop is for anyone who wants to improve care for queer survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.

Rainbow on Hands

Consent for Parents

Would you like to learn how to have those delicate conversations with your kids? I'm here to save the day! Talking to kids about puberty, periods, and prevention does not have to be awkward.

In this workshop, I provide scripts and tools to help you communicate with the kids in your life. This interactive workshop allows parents and caregivers to teach their kids all the things they wish they had known earlier in an age-appropriate manner.

As adults, it is essential that we educate children on consent, safe touch/unsafe touch, and how to reduce the risk of someone sexually abusing them.

Child Hugging Parent

Sex and Spirituality

Decolonize your mind when it comes to sex, spirituality, shame, and purity culture. This workshop dives into ancient cultures and texts throughout history that celebrated human sexuality instead of shaming it.

Let's time travel through the past as we explore various cultures around the world and how they view sex. This workshop discusses gods and goddesses of sex, the Madonna-whore complex, sacred sex priestesses, sex magic, and how today's view on sex and spirituality differs greatly from the past.

Peaceful Beach Meditation

Consent on Campus

The first six weeks of college are when a woman is most likely to be raped during her college career. This workshop discusses campus rape, prevention methods, consent, and how we can work as a team to better support survivors. Women who are raped in college oftentimes face lifelong consequences and many of them drop out, changing their life's trajectory. In order to stop campus rape, we must work together as a team to end rape culture once and for all. This workshop shares how to do just that.
